Teeny Tiny Nuisances

I live in a co-op complex and someone on our floor wasn't a good housekeeper and now we have fruit flies everywhere. The management is doing whatever they can but I have twin 2 year olds and can't use toxic chemicals to get rid of them. Does anyone know a safe and natural way to deal with these rapidly multiplying little nuisances?

  • One of those sticky tape-like things that you hang on the ceiling, maybe?

  • Maybe vinegar? Otherwise, a covered trashcan and take the trash out every day. Don't leave any fruit or veggies out either.

  • If you take away their source of food, they should go away. Just try not to leave any fruit and veggies out. I hate those things, they're so annoying! Ugh.
