Can a cockroach lay eggs in your stomach???

lol this question is so gross, but dh was watching some show about what happens so many years after people disappear on earth, and cockroaches live like for friggin ever. So that got me to thinking, if you happened to swallow one alive, would your stomach acid kill it? or would it live and be able to lay eggs in your stomach??? eww gross thought!

  • See, I would normally think stomach acid would kill it also. But I mean, if the little pests can live through a NUCLEAR BLAST!?! That has me thinking otherwise.

  • If you're ever in the situation that you have a live cockroach in your mouth...chew! :) Great question to start of the morning though, think I'll push by breakfast back a little bit.

  • They would live through a nuclear blast because they live under houses, in the walls, etc. and would be shielded from the bulk of the blast, not because they can withstand huge amounts of radiation.
