Slip Covers

Where have you found a descent one? (they all look like crap!)

My dog chewed the arm of my sofa, and I can not stand to look at it, and do not have the time to reupholster it right now (though I probably will at a later date.

  • I agree that they all look pretty awful. I had a SureFit on my living room sofa for a few years until I could afford to have one custom made.

Do you have any sewing skills or know someone who does?

  • I don't really like the way slipcovers look. I have only bought one and it was for a plaid Lazy Boy sofa we have in our basement. I bought an ecru slipcover from SureFit. While I don't like the way it looks really, it does serve its purpose in covering the plaid and it has held up very well. We've had it for several years and have washed it many times. SureFit is the big name in slipcovers, so I'd visit their website if you haven't already.
