How to clean grout around a garden tub?

We are getting ready to list our home and around the garden tub some of the grout needs to be spruced up and shiny do I go about this?

I have already tried Mr Clean erasers...

  • Try a spray bottle with straight bleach. Spray and let it sit then rinse you might need to scrub the tougher stains.

  • I use tilex on all grout, including around the jacuzzi tub.

  • Is it possible to re-grout the visible areas with a thin "touch up" layer/amount? It might look cleaner and brighter than just cleaning it?!

  • i would try baking soda and a toothbrush first.
    bleach alters the surface of the grout making it even more inviting for future mold growth. it would be a lot of work if your house does not sell right away. regrouting is hard work. my dh did it in a weekend, but it tool a whole day to get the right tools for the job!
    if regrouting is what you do, then get a dremel to remove the old grout!!
