  • with @ home or not but these are all fairly easy & cheap meals.

Another one that comes to mind is Crab Lasagna Roll-ups.. Made w/ imitation crabmeat.

    2 cups cottage cheese
1 egg or 1/2 cup egg substitute
    1/4 cup parmesan cheese
2 tbsp each italian seasoning and parsley
    1 teaspoon oregano
1/2 tsp each dried basil & thyme
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 package (8oz) imitation crabmeat, flaked
    2 cans tomato sauce

Cook noodles, mix together all ingredients and spread about 1/3 cup on each noodle. Place seam down in pan coated w/ cooking spray. Top w/ tomato sauce and cover & bake at 350 for about 30-40 minutes

  • Sage & Thyme Chicken

Chicken breasts (I cut into uniform thickness slices or use the chicken tenders)
    1 can chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup
    Brown rice
    thyme
    sage
    garlic

    Veggie of choice.

Sprinkle salt, pepper, sage and thyme on chicken. Saute. Set aside.

In same pan, add some olive oil, saute garlic. Add can of soup and 1/2 can of water. Stir.

Prepare rice for 2 but substitute the chicken broth for water (as much as you can)

lay down bed of rice, put chicken on it, pour soup "sauce" over. Serve with veggie.

Takes 20 minutes and is under $10.

  • Garlic Spaghetti

    1lb spaghetti
    4 cloves garlic minced
    4 tablespoons olive oil
    2 8oz cans tomato sauce
    4 Italian sausages

saute garlic in oil, add tomato sauce and sausages, reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes or until sausage is done. Meanwhile cook pasta, and then pour the sauce over the top. My husband loves it when I make this.

  • Do you have anything at home that you are working with?

     Chicken Pot Pie

3 Cups cooked and cut up chicken breasts

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 can cream of celery soup

    1 can chicken broth

    2 cups frozen veggies

    2 refrigerated pie crusts

Mixed all ingredients into a pot, heat until warm. Only use enough chicken broth to thin the mixture. Put one crust in bottom of pie tin and fill with mixture and cover with other crust. Bake @350 until crust is brown.

  • Well do you have other things to work with at home or are you wanting to buy every single thing with only ten bucks?
You could make a casserole with chicken and noodles and veggies and soup pretty cheap, with a salad on the side.
You could also do a cajun type thing, like spicy sausage with beans and rice.
hmmm, or grilled shrimp over pasta with a salad.
It is not hard to eat for ten dollars if it is just two people.. but do you have a big family to feed or just the two of you?

  • Country Goulash-
    1 package Elbow Macaroni
1 lb Ground Beef or turkey
    1 Can Stewed Tomatoes
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
And a tbsp of worcestershire sauce.
    Onions & Green Peppers optional.
If you're going to Aldi's you should be able to pick up these items for about that, and you may even have some of the items already at your home.

Or you could make Creamy Italian Chicken.
You will need some italian salad dressing,
1 can cream of chicken soup ( can substitue w/ other cream soup if youd like)
1 bar of cream cheese and chicken breast.
Serve over rice or egg noodles.
You could also add some peas or carrots to this.

Another good & cheap meal is Cheeseburger Meatloaf
    Ground Beef
Cheese Bar cut into cubes or shredded cheddar cheese
    Ketchup
    Onion
Bread & Butter pickles cut into tiny pieces
    & Bread crumbs..

Im not sure if you have things to work
