When your kid is sick or running a fever, do you have them sleep in your room so you can keep an eye on them during the night?

How old are they?

  • Depends. For a regular cold no, but dd had strep so was in pain for a couple days. I kept her in my room with me, she slept better and i was right there if she needed me. Im a single parent though so lots of room in the bed lol. She was 5 at the time.

  • Our bed is brand new and my kids think Im a target to puke on so I will sleep with them. I always have a puke bucket on hand(ya know those plastic ice cream buckets are a LIFE SAVER!!!) some poweraid the white cherry(I think thats the flavor its like a see through white) that way they dont barf up red or blue. They are 4 and 2 might I say they are GREAT at finding new ways to puke on me too...

  • Yes, I actually have them stay with me whenever they are sick. Sometimes I will sleep in their rooms so my hubby can get some rest.
