CBO budget projections are in.

The new budget projections are in. They include the UHC. It isn't good. It is actually called "unsustainable". So, how will PBO talk his way out of this? I guess he will go on the in campaign trail for the V.A.T.! Oh, when will he just stay in the White House and not do anything until 2012? That is the safest way to survive him and his progressive friends and their agenda!!!!!!

  • Ahh I see. They mean just the money we already spend on anything, mostly entitlements. Thats not surprising and I hope some who just can't see it will read this and start thinking. We are on our way to being Greece. The difference is we can still make and borrow money. That only hurts Americans because it has to be paid back and Dems think the only thing to do is tax people.
A time will come in the near future where Americans debt will lower our rating and cause higher rates and even refusal to lend. Then what? Higher taxes are on the horizen no matter who is in office. The huge debt we have been saddled with cannot be paid for only with tax cuts and the ensuing good they cause. It's just to big.

  •  It is actually called "unsustainable".

The first step to resolving a problem is to acknowledge that there is a problem.  So here we are.  The next actions our leadership takes will tell me everything I need to know about the players.

  • This article sums up my feelings pretty well.

and growthTwo overarching reasons explain the failure of Obamanomics. First, administration economists and their outside supporters neglected the longer-term costs and consequences of their actions. Second, the administration and Congress have through their deeds and words heightened uncertainty about the economic future. High uncertainty is the enemy of investment .

  • Did anyone honestly think it was sustainable?

Oh, wait, they just didn't care...

  • So, how does he and all of his czars, Pelosi, Reid, and the debt reduction committe think they are going to talk their way out of this? How does the CBO explain the fact it now doesn't think the UHC will not reduce the debt or be self-sustaining?

We're in a fine mess now, Margret!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Well, he is not just lying to us:

World leaders pledging to reduce global deficits‎ -

The deficit pledge would mean cutting the red ink in half within three years ... Obama's budget plan from February would cut the deficit in half by 2012, ...

  • Apparently, he is the only one who believes spending more money is a good way to get out of debt:

TORONTO – World leaders on Sunday endorsed a bold pledge by rich nations to slash budget deficits in half in three years despite President Barack Obama's concerns that cutting stimulus spending too quickly could stall the global recovery.

Yeah, cuz that stimulus money really worked will at keeping unemployment under 8%.
