How would you handle this?

Two nieces from different sides of the family. (One my side, one DH's side) Both picked the same wedding date in different states.

What to do?

  • As unhappy as I would be about it I would go to my niece's wedding and have my husband go to his, unless you both are closer to one of them. I would try to go to some of the showers for both girls. Are the states close enough (and times different enough) that you could possibly get to both weddings? Get creative!!

  • Thats a real hard decision since ones on your side and ones on your husbands. I would talk to my husband and decide which one is more important for you all to attend and sorry you would have to miss the other wedding.

  • I agree with the above post or maybe your husband can video tape his niece wedding so you want miss a thing. I hope it works out for everyone good luck.

  • If I went to one of them I would pick the niece I am closer to. (not meaning living closer to)

  • Personally I would go to my family's wedding and send DH to his family's wedding.

  • You go to one, husband go to another....or just flip a coin.
