Do kids get more and more whiney at the age of two, or is it just mine? It seems that's all she does all day is whine at me!!!!!! She makes it so that if she actually has a reason to whine. . .like a tummy ache. . . I think she's just whining to whine some more!

  • Enjoy it - soon she will not want you anywhere near her!

  • If she has the ability to talk in a plain voice then tell her that she needs to sit in her bed or in time out until she can talk like a big girl. You don't have to respond to her whining.

  • tarrable 2's it is normal. Just wait though cause then comes the 3s I thought got better, but nope it gets worse lol then you have the tarrable 4's and now she is 5 and thinks she can back talk and be bossy and mouthy. I am so hoping 6 is better lol. Have a while though since she just turned 5 in April

  • Oh yeah. Terrible twos. Our daughter likes to do this....

    "MOMMY!!!! *scream* Mommy. Mommy. Mommy."
    (Mommy walks in: "What dear?")
    "I want Daddy!!!!!!!"
    (Daddy walks in "What dear?")
    "I want my MOMMY!!!!"

  • Oh thank GOODNESS its not only my Max who whines all the live long day....

Answer by maxsmom11807 at 2:15 PM on Jun. 30, 2010

  • They do! I think maybe it's because they are getting smarter but their vocabulary is still to small to express to you all their wants and needs and it's frustrating for them. At least that's what I think of my 2 year old.
