  • Work from home? I sell Gold Canyon Candles and earn a second income....but I know moms that do this full time and earn a very good income. In 2008 the top Demontrator made $350,000. Just like any home based business, the more you put into it the more you can make. I started by signing up on a website ( $35 after tax and shipping to get started, collect $350 in orders within your 1st 30 days and the sample kit that comes to you is free! I did it and I love what I do. I am having a candle part on Friday at 7pm, depending on where you are located you are more that welcome to check it out. Email me if you are interested. oh, by the way, I'm in Arizona. Or just check out the website and see if it is something you might want to do. You can also check out the Blog at

  • Girl, there are tons of ways to make money from home.  They don't all have to be sitting at home on the internet either.  I have lots of ideas listed on my Blog:  Mavi's Home Work.  But I do want to tell you, the most money I have made "working home based" is from eBay, eHow and merchandising.  eBay is particularly easy because you can start out by selling anything in your home you do not need anymore.  Listing is so easy as well.  After you sign up, be sure to register for Paypal, get yourself a camera, take a picture of your item, think of a good description for it and list.  Viola!  You are in business.  I started making money the very first day I did it.  I still sell items I find at garage sales, thrift stores, etc.  Good Luck!!

  • Do you have a former employer you could work for remotely?
You can search for jobs that match you skill set and have a telecommute option.
If you have a computer with high speed internet & Microsoft Office Pro & have at least intermediate MS Office skills, you should be able to find work as a virtual assistant (VA). For more information, go to,, ..
Do you have a skill or experience that you can turn into a home based business? I have a friend who makes children's hair accessories in her basement & sells them to boutiques around the Midwest. My husband runs a handyman business from our home. I work from home with two lines of business; I do freelance bookkeeping & business organization, I also do career and job search coaching
