  • My daughter lost her first tooth at 5. Are his teeth tightly packed together? That can slow it down. I'd talk to his dentist or pediatrician.

  • My daughter was 4! My son was 7. He was the last in his class. It was hard for him because the teacher made a big deal out of it when a child lost a tooth. He was in 2nd grade. He developed slowly, was always small. Now at 15 he's 5'7" and finally not the smallest any more. There's nothing wrong with developing slowly. And what could you possibly do about it anyway? Yank them out?

  • Mine is 6 years old now and he is missing his two front teeth. He looks so funny, but yet so cute:)

  • Both of my daughters lost their first teeth a few months after their 5th birthday. I think your child is still within "average" range (albeit on the later end of it), but if you're concerned about it, I'd take him to the dentist.

  • My daughter lost her first at 5. Some of her friends lost their first quite a bit later. I wouldn't be concerned, but you can always ask his dentist at his next checkup.

  • Well my son is 6.5 and has not lost any yet or starting to yet. Did his teeth come in late as a baby? Cause it sometimes they loose them later.
