my 4 yr old daughter has pinkeye and earinfection besides meds what can i do to make her more comfy?

  • I know that when I have pink eye, I feel better with a cool wash cloth to stop the itching. Then a hot washcloth (as hot as I can stand it) to massage and relieve the swelling. Or vice versa. I would NOT put anything in the ear without talking to the doctor first.

  • Warm wash cloth on her eye. Ask the doctor about putting anything in her ear. I find a warm heating pad helps when I have earaches.

  • Warm wash rag/compresses for the eyes and a heating pad set on low to the affected ear. Tylenol/Motrin for the ear pain.
