Is there a way to get vaseline out of clothes?

My daughter was squirming when I was changing her diaper, and I got vaseline all over a brand new shirt the first day she wore it. It is an adorable shirt, and I would like to get the stains out.

  • I am not sure if this will work but try putting laundry detergent directly on the shirt and washing it by itself in hot water, good luck!

  • Simple Green, Pine Sol, or Dawn dish soap. Which ever one you have on hand, apply directly to the spot and let sit over night. Then soak in cold water for several hours before washing in the laundry.

  • Use Dawn dish soap on the clothing... a little and rub it in and then soak in luke warm water...

  • Dawn Dish detergent. Dawn is a De-greasing Detergent and GREAT for getting out things like Vaseline, Oil, and other greasy spots. Just let it sit overnight before washing.

  • Dawn dish soap. Rub it in the spot & wash. No need to let it sit.
