  • Are you shallow? Why would that matter? I didn't graduate from college, so, does that mean I should never get to date anyone?

  • Of course I would! Lots of guys dont ever push themselves that far and they have dates! :)

  • Why would his grades even matter. Is that the first thing you ask someone when you meet? " what were you grades in college?"

Answer by Claudiomom at 5:52 PM on Jun. 30, 2010

  • Hey,at least he attended and graduated!! I can't say as much for some ppl! Being creative is a gift.

  • Sure, why not? GPA doesn't mean everything. I had tons of friends in college who had low GPA's but they were extremely bright people and now super successful. Sometimes it's because they have a lot of other things going on. For example one of my close girlfriends had around a 2.1 GPA, but she was a professional salsa dancer, involved in theatre, amateur journalism and all kinds of other things. She's now a political advisor to a congressman in D.C.

  • I married a man who hasn't even been to college! lol.

But, I don't think one's GPA should define whether or not they're dating material. They could have graduated with a 4.0 GPA and be an asshole who isn't worth your time.

  • If he's successful then I don't think his GPA matters, he probably just partied too much lol. Some people graduate with higher GPA's and never accomplish much, or maybe just had an easier major.

  • GPA doesn't tell you that much about the person, I graduated undergrad with a 3.4 and grad school with a 4.0 so obviously my undergrad didn't really reflect my potential :)
