  • would you vote it down for being factually wrong?

Some of the "factually wrong" answers around here are downright dangerous. And I don't mean in a difference of opinion or different schools of parenting sort of way, I mean in a could cause someone to lose their job, lose their kids or hurt someone sort of way.

  • I would vote down for being factually wrong because I agree some people give out dangerous advice and also if it is rude and off topic. What I mean is that some people will see a question and then assume something negative about the question being asked when it does not even suggest that in the slightest and to think it does mean you must be a negative person...a question is a question!

  • It's all in the gray, I've only had to give a couple thumbs down.

They implemented it so we could self police. It's NO different than any other forum... Except its a not a thumbs up/down. Enough -'s and the comment collapses, and no one sees it.

  • I would vote down for a personal attack or an attack on a group of people.

There are a lot of people I don't agree with, I would not vote somebody down for that.

  • I am not down-voting people. That's juvenile. and it's pretty crappy that there is no appeal for someone voting you down if they just don't like you. But anywho if they are factually wrong doesn't it make MORE sense to respond to them with WORDS and LINKS to SHOW them? wth does a -1 do? Silliness.
