How old were you when you saw your first gray hair?

Do you pull them out, let them grow in naturally, or dye them?

  • 19 or 20 and I counted 50 of them in one little spot on the top of my head and decided I would NEVER let my natural color be seen again and is hasn't ;)
    *besides the new growth anyhow

  • 26 and for a few years I was like Tom Cruise in Vanilla Sky. If they get too long, I yank but I don't have enough for anyone but me to notice.

  • I was 29 and I pulled them out for a while, but then they were just coming in too fast. A girl my daughter was playing with the other day told her that her mom was "kind of old", so I think I need to start coloring my hair. I like my natural hair color (very dark brown), so I'll want to try to match it.

  • I started noticing them around 25. I usually dye them. There are too many to pull :) I just match my natural color so I dont have horrible roots to deal with.

  • 28. I pulled them out until I was 30 and now I've just given up. I can't afford to get it professionally colored and I don't like the way drugstore brands look, so I just let them grow for now. It's mainly in my temples, but I have very dark brown hair, so it's noticeable.

  • 19. I always let them come in, but they are few and far between. Gray hair is a sign of nutritional deficiency, I'm usually okay on the nutritional thing...
