do you have a harder time accepting faults of your own children, or of other people's children?

i think i am more accepting and forgiving with other kids. i feel like it is not my job to make them better people. does that seem unfair to my kids?

  • I am so much harder on my own kids than on other peoples kids. The same goes for myself. But Ai would like to think that i praise my own kids more than others too. So it equals out.

  • My child doesn't have any faults! LOL! Actually, he's only 9 months old, so that's pretty close to being true. When he gets older, I don't know.... I guess we'll see!

  • I agree with son is 9 months old too, and in my eyes, he has no faults yet. I don't see what he could possibly do intentionally that would be wrong, lol. I have a feeling I'll always be more forgiving of my own child's faults. Yea, definitely.

  • I agree with Joy. I am much harder on my own kids than I am on other children, but I adore my kids much more than I adore other children.
