How old is "too old" to be rocked to sleep?

I am still rocking my 1 year old to sleep with a sippy cup of milk.

  • Shoot, I would like to be rocked to sleep by someone and I am 31 years old. LOL
Honestly, I would rock that sweet baby as long as she/he will let you. The time goes by too fast and those are the moments that are so special that you can't take for granted.

  • I rock my 6 month old every night. Occasionally I rock my almost 2 1/2 year old to sleep, when hes not feeling well. When babies need mommy time they get it. =)

  • i agree with kt. as long as they will let you. someday you will wish you could, but they just wont fit on your lap anymore, much less let you.

  • I enjoy holding my daughter for a few, and then she goes right to bed. She is 2.5. This will not last forever!! So I enjoy it...

  • from day one of birth, I have NEVER rocked my son to sleep and never will. Commence with the bashing, I'm sure it will come but I will never read it.
