  • Yep. They offered it, so why not take the extra prevention?

  • no, but, right after I had my son, a nurse came in and jabbed me and I found out that apparently I needed a MMR update. LOL

  • No, I inquired about it but my doctor didn't seem to think it was necessary.

  • Yes, it is lethal to younger children and I even know a woman who lost her baby to this.

So the whole household go the shot. It's free via my insurance so I figured I should since it was offered.

  • Yep - I try to keep up-to-date with all my vaccinations.

  • I didn't with my first two in '04 and ''07. But I just had a baby in February and they strongly recommended me getting one because it is making a comeback. My other children are vaccinated but the baby won't be until 6 months. If I am vaccinated, the chances of getting it and passing it on are less likely since we all have the vaccination. I chose to take it but check with your doc and see what he/she says!
