My Daughter has a small white spot on one of her front top teeth. Is it a cavity?

She is 18 months and has never been to a dentist. She hates getting her teeth brushed and crys every time. Should I be concerned? or is this normal?

  • My dentist told me that they are the START of cavities when I took my son and that he needed more fluoride or something. She even proscribed him medicine for it. We did not buy it though. Just make her brush Well. I have one on my front tooth as well and it has been there forever!

  • My bothers and I have had white spots on our teeth for as long as we can remember. Our dentist said ours are no big deal- I'm 26 and my bro's are 31 and none of us have any cavities. We wee=re told it was just a hereditary discoloration- nothing to worry about.
