  • I've always been close to my mom, and I wouldn't know what to do without her, but I related so much more with my dad. We held a lot of the same beliefs, and had pretty much the same thought process, so it's always been easier, and more interesting to talk with my dad. He passed away in April, and that's one of the things I miss the most about him - we could talk about anything.

  • My answer is identical to beyondhopes. I miss my daddy so much, I was adopted and both of my adoptive parents have passed away. I just recently got back in touch with my bio mom and have also just recently gotten in touch with my bio dad(whom I have never met yet), we are just e-mailing right now.

  • I am actually not close to my parents at all. We do not agree on many things. I have a career as a teacher, attending grad school, etc. My parents find me too educated *their words* and my mom does not understand why I am not a SAHM. I work out of choice. Oh yea my mom thinks I need to give my son a sibling. I find that a stupid reason to have a 2nd child.
