Do you remember learning one thing from watching Mr.Rogers when you were a kid?

Every time I cut an orange, I think of Mr. Rogers. When I was about 6 years old, I watched an episode where he carefully showed his viewers how to peel an orange. I remember being amazed becuse he kept the entire peel together in one strip, lol. I still cut our oranges that way today, lol. I recently showed my son how to do it.

  • I remember watching an episode on how crayons were made. They showed the big vats full of pink wax and all I could think about was the smell of warm crayons. To this day the smell of crayons makes me think about that episode.

  • It was our favorite show.....that happens when you only got 3 channels back then LOL But I just remember the song, the trolley. Not any specific lessons. Do you know why Mr Rogers wore those long sweaters and sleeves? He was a sniper and is all tatooed up!! Crazy right??? Mr Rogers shot people....I find it funny.

  • The first time I saw a woman breastfeeding was on mr. Rogers. I believe she was in a grocery store. So I learned what boobies are really for on that show.
