how do ur prepare ur own baby's cereal?

  • With juice until it's a thick as I like (or she wants) and I don't heat it.

  • I always used breastmilk or formula for my kids when they were babies. As they get older it's ok to mix milk, water or juice with it. When they are first starting out on cereal make it runny so it's easier for them to get down, as they get used to the texture you can gradually make it thicker.

  • We don't do cereal. Much to hard to diigest. Webstarted with fork mashable able food (fruit or veg)

  • We always mixed Camryn's with a jar of fruit baby food. She prefers it that way and now at a year old she still has cereal with a jar of stage 3 fruit for breakfast.

  • I mix carsons with whole milk and applesauce or yogurt :) Sometimes i put fruit chunks in it too :)

  • by cereal you cook yourself do you mean starting from whole oats? I was told this wasn't recommended because it doesn't have the added nutrients that baby cereal has. I use baby oatmeal, add warm breastmilk until it's about the same consistency of a stage 1 fruit or veggie.
