  • Always out to stay soft in the butter tray.

  • I'll set it on the counter to soften it, then smash it into my Butter Bell; it holds a whole stick and the butter fresh (and soft!) on the counter.

  • It stays in the frige. I sit it out 3-4 hours, sometimes over night, if it needs to be softened.

  • I leave mine in the refrigerator. If a recipe calls for it softened I take it out and let it soften then.

  • i have one stick out, in the butter dish.
the rest stays refrigerated, unless i am baking cookies, then more comes out to be softened : )

  • I use the tub, so it stays in the fridge. However, if I were to use stick butter one would always be out in a dish.
