if another car side swiped another car at high speeds how much damage would there be?

i know someone who claims his gf side swiped him at 60 mph hr but the damage on his car looks more like he swiped a post. it just has paint transfer on the lower part of the car...i would think that the mirror would be tore off also and a lot more damage.
the paint transfer/ scratches are from front to back but the only come up to the door handle

  • Seriously! An SUV????? This guy is insulting your (and everyone else he's telling this to) intelligence. If an SUV hit that little thing, he'd have MUCH MUCH MUCH more and higher damage than that. Looks like he swerved into a guardrail or something. What a tool lol

  • It depends on the type of vehicle. Some vehicles take impact more severe than others. It is logistics at this point.

  • Yeah I'd raise the bullcrap flag on that one! If he got swiped at 60, he wouldn't have a mirror, and would be lucky to have a door I would think.
