  • Depending on where you live in NC and your friend lives in Florida, you could go to Myrtle Beach, SC, Tybee Island, GA, or St. Augustine, Fl.

  • One of my favorite cities is Charleston, SC. There is tons of things to do there and the beach is still close by. I personally live in Jacksonville, FL and the beaches here are really nice, but Charleston is more of a "southern hospitality" stay.

  • Discwbgrl you are right about Charleston. My husband is there on business about 8-10 times a year. The last trip I went with him and we could have stayed for weeks. Just adoring the Victorian architecture was amazing and the people were wonderful.
