I am clueless...

I want to make a picture CD for my mom's birthday, and have never done this. What's the best kind of disc to use? Thanks in advance!

  • As the previous posters said, it depends on how large your pictures are and how many you have. CDs hold about 700 MB of data, and DVDs hold about 4.7 GB. The brand shouldn't matter too much. If you have a newer version of Windows, I suggest using Windows Movie Maker to burn the CD or DVD; it's free and pretty easy to use.

  • i made a really good dvd of videos and pictures using memorex i think.... it was the cheapest one that could hold the amount of data i needed. i think it depends more on the quality of the pictures than the disk itself

  • Yeah I agree with PP. It depends on how many pictures you want it to hold and the size of the pictures, etc.
