  • Try some pore strips! They work well. Also I would try a pore reducing mask, like the green muddy kind, lol.

  • It won't make your pores shrink, but using primer under your makeup will make your pores look smaller.

  • you actually can't minimize your pores, i think i read this once. its genetic. the best you can do is keep your face clean/clear, so dirt/oil doesn't get trapped. laser resurfacing can smooth out the skin, but your pores are your parents fault.

i'm pretty sure i read this once.

  • When you wash your face, finish off with a cool rinse.  The cool water closes your pores while hot water opens them.

  • dullscissors is right, you can't minimize your pores they are genetic.. however you can use water-based make up to help with larger pores, and month facials to help keep your skin fresh and free from break outs. Unless of course you are dealing with acne rather than papules, pustules, and comedomes. (average pimples and white and black heads). If you have acne you need to seek your doctor, because topical applications won't cure it.

  • AVON has a line of skin care products called Clearskin, which works very well. I have a customer that had tried everything, including going to a dermatologist and they still couldn't get her acne to go away. She tried Clearskin Professional and has not had any more trouble with her acne. You can check out the entire line of Clearskin by going to
