  • Arm. My right leg was paralyzed during my last birth and the doctors thought I would never walk again. With PT I learned to walk when my baby was around 12 mo but I am slow. I've had problems with my feed and knees and sometimes have to use a wheelchair for months. Right now I'm OK if I stay home and don't walk much but if I start trying to shop or go out I start having pain and mobility problems and then can't get around at home. I've had problems for 22 years now.

  • Leg - I don't know what I would do if I could not hug or carry my babies.

  • A leg, I could get around in a wheel chair, I could even still drive. One of my best friend's legs are paralyzed and she has a van with hand controls, and she gets around extrememly well. It certaily wouldn't be easy, but I think missing an arm would be worse, it's so hard to do things one-handed.
