Does your back ALWAYS ITCH?

My back drives me nuts.

I use loofa's, back scratchers, my bf to scratch, my kids even scratch my back! lol
It ALWAYS ITCHES! And it isn't just around the bra, it's everywhere!

What about you?

  • YES!!! Mine has for yrs! I've talked to Drs about it, tried creams, lotions, different soaps, shower more, shower less, hotter water, colder water, all sorts of crazy things to scratch with (lol - I've even taken scissors and used them to sort of "scrape" along my back - closed, using the side, and of course, I don't use them for other things and wash them afterward.)

NOTHING helps! Some days are worse than others, some days I can't stand it, some I barely notice it, but it's itched for YRS! :-(

  • YES!! It is always itchy. I've taught my kids how "fun" it can be to scratch Mommys back.

  • Yes!!! It has since I was a kid. I use back scratchers, get my husband and daughter to scratch, I'll scratch it with pens, pencils, hair brushes, forks, butter knives, really what ever is handy. Of course, I put the dishes in the sink after scratching with them.

  • I used to itch a lot more than I do because I did not know I am mildly allergic to most fragrances. I switched to natural or unscented skin , bath and laundry care products and now I itch a lot less. Itchy back may mean your allergic to your hair care products if you wash your hair in the shower.

  • Yes. I think it's because I really can't scratch that area without the help of my wall corners! LOL! I keep a back scratcher handy though. I feel like my dog rubbing against the wall,

  • Yes, but I got a sunburn a few days ago and it has not stopped itching since.....a speghetti (sp?) spoon works amazingly for scratching the back.

  • I sometimes use a serving fork. It's nice and big.

  • Lol, strangest thing I have ever scratched with I think are McDonalds straws! Ha! Ha! They are larger than most straws so they work really well and aren't flemsy... :)
