BP fund confusion?

Did you expect this? The people who wanted this fund set up and run by the government had to be to emotionally impacted to realize what they were asking for.

  • That fund is going to turn into a huge mess. I'm guessing the people it was supposed to help will find the whole process difficult, time-consuming, and tedious and won't get the relief it promised.

  • It's not really the Fund that is in an uproar. The question that they are grappling with is that BP feels that is should not be required to pay lost wages to those put out of work due to the moratorium. They guy they picked to work this out seems to be a very experienced guy and there is a general agreement among the victims of 9/11 that he handles that job very well. http://www.dailyfinance.com/story/bp-fund-czar-is-skilled-at-weighing-compensation-for-victims-of/19522388/
