How young can you start wearing Tampons.. ?

My daughter has asked if she can wear them instead of the dreaded pads.. she is 15 and will be 16 next month.. I have no problem with that, but I don't know if she is too young.

  • I think her age is fine. As long a girl is responsible enough to use them, i think age doesn't matter. But if it's a concern, ask her doctor.

  • Soon as she starts and you think will be comfortable with the idea. All my girls had to hear was no swimming with a pad. Boom hello tampons.

  • My 15 y/o started when she was 12 her period and for a hole year we used pads. So when she turned 13 I allowed her to use them for like swimming and stuff. Even now at age 15 she still prefers her pads but uses tampons when needed...

  • I think I started at about her age. Mainly because I was more active and gone doing things, carrying tampons was jsut more practical.
