"soda" or "pop?

My dh and I were having the discussion and he says "pop" but I always say "soda." Which to you say?

  • pop. I am from NW Pennsylvania. Always will be pop. When I lived out in Tacoma WA for a time I was amazed to find they call it pop there as well.

  • I guess depends what part of the state you live in. It's like people who live in Texas say "y'all" oppose to some people saying "you guys".
