  • No, but my oldest is only 4...

Hell, I would love to ban my DH from lighting them off too though!

  • Sparklers are a NEVER in my house! I will only allow the kind that you stick in the ground, none of the hand held ones. I had horrid burns from one as a kid and caught my house on fire with one a year later... So we don't allow those at all!

  • i let my kids hold sparklers but they usually hand them back before they burn out but other than that no their too young. My hubby doesn't even let me light them.

  • My husband shoots them off, I let the kids watch at a distance :)

  • No, she's only 5. She does hold sparklers though, but she knows and follows the rules with them and drops them in the bucket of water when it goes out. She doesn't even pick up lighters or matches that fall to the floor at home, only points to it and says "mom, that's on the floor"

  • No way! They burn so hot, one slip and they can be burned really badly.

    No sparklers, nothing!

  • My son goes to SC and buys the fireworks (sometimes) but he's 26. When they were younger, just the stuff you buy at Wal-Mart.

  • Absolutely not!!!! My son is living with autism, and is VERY sensitive to loud noise. It's bad enough that our neighbor's kids set them off and scare the yoohoo out of our son and then he goes into a meltdown.
