Why does any sane person give a rip about credits or points?

I, for one will not be getting my panties in a twist over numbers that don't mean anything but I don't want to bash anybody so please explain to those of us who don't care why this is exciting for you. I really want to understand... am I missing something?

  • exciting is not the word i would use to describe it. (for me, anyways)
I am not super wrapped into the points thing, although i admit that i can't help but to keep track of my progress.

  • The only thing that I do like about this whole thing is the way you have to level up to be able to use the Anon. button... less drama around these parts...
As for the points... I have no worries on how fast if any at all, I get from point A to point B...

  • I guess it's the same "rush" people get when they see they have 500 "friends" on their "friends list". I don't care who you are, 500 friends is a lot of people to keep up with often enough to call them a friend lol

  • I know, how dumb. I deleted a question that had all the answers I needed and I was done with, and it kindly  let me know I lost 2 points for deleting. I was like ummm ok, I don`t really care.
