Muffle burns on baby hand.

My son was trying to see the motor cycle next to us today in the parking lot, and His dad was about to put him in the car when he walked a little towards it, dad says no we don't touch that, but my son ran and hit the muffler, while it was hot. It burned his fingers and a little of his hand. He seems fine after the initial shock of it hurting. Its red, but it didn't blister or anything. I'm worried what to do. Should I take him to the doctor even tho he seems fine. Or should I wait and see how it heals up? Hes babying his hand now, so I know its sore, but.. What should I do? Hes two.

  • I would run it under cold water so it doesn't blister. If it gets really bad then you may have to call the pediatrician to find out what to do next.
