  • My kids are teenagers so I allow them enough rope to hang themselves. Home is the place where you're allowed to make mistakes and wallow in the consequences!

  • No later than 10pm. Earlier if we have plans the next day. It's a real treat since their school bedtime is 8pm.

  • She has to be in her room, in bed by 9pm, but she has until I go to bed to actually be asleep. She will usually sit in be with a book to look at or her coloring books and crayons and watch tv for a while until around 10 or so.

  • Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter...It does not matter, bed time is bed time. They have the same bedtime ALL year round! Our household works better this way, DH still goes to work during the summer hours as well. Bedtime is 8:45-9:00 pm here. This is mainly because we homeschool and the kids don't have to get up to catch a school bus. If they were "going" to school then bedtime would be at 7:45-8:00 pm that way they would get adequate TIME for sleep, because they would have to get up earlier then they do now to catch the school bus.
