How do you get pee smell out of the mattress?

My almost 3 year just use the bathroom all over her mattress.

  • Soak as much as you can with a paper towel, then put baking soda on it. The baking soda will turn yellow on the pee spots. Then, vacuum it up. Then, put more on and leave for half an hour to an hour and revacuum. Then spray with febreeze to make it smell fresh. I used this when the dog peed on my daughter's bed and it worked great. I also use it on the carpets when they get peed on.

  • vinegar gets the smell out after youve soaked it all up and stuff. works great, and the vinegar smell goes away when it dries. try mixing a little citrus essential oil with the vinegar for a clean smell when the vinegar dries. its non-toxic and cheap.

  • I would steam clean the mattress and then place out side in the sun for the day.
