Do you believe the saying, "Once a cheater, always a cheater"?

  • I saw on some show, Dateline or 20/20 or something like that, marriages where an affair happened, when it is outed if they stay together they are actually stronger than ever before because the partners now see what was missing in the marriage to cause one partner to stray and they begin to really work on their problems from inside the marriage.

  • I don't know. Fidelity is harder for some people than others. I think yes though that once you have strayed you are probably more likely to again, but I DON'T think it means you can never be faithful either. Some people mentally, emotionally and sexually leave a relationship before physically doing so. I am not condoning that, just saying.

  • I don't know, I dont want to. My DH flirted with a coworker at his old job. I worry that if I hadn't caught him so fast it may have gona farther. But I will never know, thank God!

  • I think that people who cheat are more likely to do it again. But, i also think that people can change if they really want to.
