Has anyone tried this diet?

Is their anyone who has tried the full bars as a way to diet. I want to lose weight I have tried slim fast, counting calories, and fell that nothing is working as anyone had success with the full bar!!!

  • The concept behind that is not worth the money you will pay for the "bars". No fad diet ever works because you can't sustain it. Changing your eating habits to something you can sustain as a lifestyle not a "temporary fix" to your weight problem is the only way to lose weight for good. Don't waste your money.

  • don't waste your money.

    you can drink a whole glass of water before meals without the bar and it will cut down on what you eat anyways (because your stomach is full of water)

    or you could try conciously changing your portion sizes since that's all the full bar system does is make you eat less. Change your plate size to a smaller plate. If you go out to eat, ask for a to go box as soon as you get your food and put half of everything in it. Bonus - a meal tomorrow too.

  • Girl, I suggest this book: Belly Fat Cure. It teaches you how sugar plays an important role in the fat we carry around. I found it so helpful and just by following that I lost 10 lbs.

  • Diets and diet aids (if they even work) are temporary fixes; some are actually dangerous. Unless you learn how to eat healthy for life, you will not be able to maintain a healthy weight and will stay on the gain/lose roller coaster - frustrating for you and hard on your body. Drink at least 8 8oz glasses of water every day. Eat 6-7 servings of whole grains (brown rice, whole grain bread, etc.) every day. Eat 7-8 servings of fruits and vegetables every day, in at least 3 different colors. Eat at least 2 servings of legumes every day. You will lose weight. You will have more energy. You will maintain a healthy weight. You will get sick less often. You will be setting a wonderful example for your children.
