  • its a necessity for me because I can't afford a home phone and i am a diabtic and I am legally blind.

  • I do and I think it's a great idea. You don't know someone else's situation. Like a PP said, she is legally blind and diabetic. What if she got sick and needed to call an ambulance? Should she just lay there and die becuase she is poor? The minutes that come with that phone are less than 100 minutes a month. How is she supposed to make doctors' appointments, get emergency calls from her kids schools, etc?
