  • Free pre k funded by the state but the school must follow state guidelines. Many of the schools in our city are free VPK.

  • Oh... I have never heard of such a thing. I wonder if they have that every where? I live in so. cal. and we just looked at all the schools in the area I was willing to drive to. Many have multi year wait lists. But since I was focused only on actual pre-schools (not day care) there were shorter wait lists. And the ones I looked at were not the foo foo ones where you had to do interviews and test in. We went basic.

  • I think I would focus on private since they wouldnt have all the red tape that a state run pre-school would have.
