  • Ok I have two cures. Depending on the type of headache your having. Head aches are vascular in nature. Open or closed capillaries. Unless it is some other sort of headache. Such as sinus, food allergies, lack of sleep or head injury.
I use ice at the base of my neck in a gallon zip lock bag then put it in a kitchen towel. I use a hair pony holder to secure them in the front. It looks sort of crazy but it works. This can make my head pain go away and not return. Other times I need heat- I purchased these gel packs at Wal-Mart that can be frozen or heated in the microwave. It needs to be heated up pretty hot, then the same thing into the towel and secured around my neck.
Ice works the best for me though, sometimes I lay down and sleep with it on my neck. Usually for a half hour or until it is gone. I ask my kids to check on me after a while--usually I feel so much better I don't need the ice any more other times I do.

  • AH :) I love this!

I rarely take medicine, so when i have a headache i do this...

We have pressue points in our fingertips for our heads...

"Pinch" your finger tips.... i always do this, i try to relax and close my eyes and breathe steadily.... just kind of massage your finger tips... not your thumbs though its not there.

Its best if you have someone else massage it like a SO or Dh... :)

    hope this helps!!
