What types of snacks do you keep in your house?

not for the kids, but for you and your SO...I need ideas because I always just have stuff I have to cook, and I don't like to cook everything.

  • We like to keep hummus and crackers (wheat thins flatbreads are my favorite), fresh fruits of all sorts that just need washed, fresh veggies like baby carrots, grape tomatoes, celery sticks, and cucumbers, toast and jam (since toast is quick lol), lowfat graham crackers to eat with sliced apples or bananas, yogurts, and fruit popsicles.

  • Bread sticks,crackers,cream cheese,cherry tomatoes,pita bread,granola bars,pop corn,cashew nuts,pistachio nuts,almonds,turkey slices,mozarella balls,baked chips,feta cheese etc.We make dips and snack on most of these things,or else it's just my dh sneaking a bite to eat!:0)

  • Bread... like cheesy soft fluffy bread, guacamole...well the stuff to make it. I LOVE making guac!! Hmm... chips, small sandwich stuff... like meat pprjack chz and mustard. lol grapes!

  • peanut butter, crackers, nuts, fruit, sometimes sweet treats from the bakery. And my husband loves to snack on pickles!!

  • our naughty snacks are frito lays plain chips. the ingredients are potatoes, sunflower seed oil and salt.
    we also like chips and salsa, fresh salsa, YUM!
    hummus is great, i have to learn to make my own though, i can't find any without chemicals in it : )

  • Not a terrible lot - crackers, fruit, cheese (string, chunks to slice)...I don't buy special snacks for us, we eat the same stuff as the kids, really - we don't snack a whole lot either (DH would rather have a sandwich than a snack, lol).
