What is your favorite workout? What workout are you currently doing?

Because I'm a single mom and without a babysitter most of the time, I work out using DVDs--I'm currently using Turbo Fire? If you workout at home, what program are you using?

  • I am using C25K (couch to 5K). I try to do it either in the early mornings or in between work/class and picking up my son. I am on week 2 and have 7 more weeks to go!

  • I usually use my wii so I do 30 minutes of wii fit in the morning or I just bought Jillian Michaels for the wii and I try to do that one time a week. It makes me so sore that one time a week is about all I can handle!!!

  • I am doing a circuit of this I lift weights kick box, Muay thai (Boxing) I also do Krav maga (Isreli Martial arts) and Aikido. When that circles around in between I do P90 X.

  • Gotfavor- A cafemom member told me about it. I will be going to police academy in 6 months and I really need to work on my running. It is a 9 week program where you start off with a brisk 5 minute walk, followed by 60 seconds of running/jogging, and then 2 minutes of walking. You alternate the running and walking for 25 minutes. The next week you up your running to 90 seconds and lower your walking to 90 seconds, etc. Each week you run a little bit more until my the 9th week you are running a 5K without stopping.

  • @JeremysMom, that sounds like something I would like to try.. I'm not going to the police academy but I do love going jogging when I can.
