Maybe a dumb question but...Can you swim with a tampon in? My sis said that I can but I'm not so sure.

  • Yes you can swim while you are on your period. You should not swim for more than 6 hours, as this increases the chance of Toxic Shock Syndrome and vaginal infections. Remember to use a less absorbent tampon if you are less experienced, and hide the tampon string under your swimsuit.
