  • My mom has been taking two teaspoons of local honey every day. She has found her symptoms have greatly reduced. She really didn't think any thing of it until she went away for a few days and didn't take the honey with her. She came back and her allergies hit her big time. Now she swears by it.

  • During allergy season, I find that changing my AC filter more often helps a lot.

  • You can take Quercetin. It's the same stuff that is found in onions. Works great for my hubby.

  • I fought allergies for years. i am in North Texas btw. I was sick about every 4 weeks or so. If I wasn't sick I felt congested, all that goes along with allergies. I finally started getting allergy shots and though a pain in the butt, they are a God sent. I get sick now with allergy/sinus related issues about once a year.

  • I started taking a high dose antioxidant that my sister recommended. it's called OPC-3 and I bought it at charmcitymall.com. I started taking it in Jan 2008 and since then I have only had to take allergy pills 3 times. That's a miracle for me
