Dumping someone because their a truck driver

Do you think its rude and shallow to dump somone because their driving trucks?
( even if its just for 2 months of driving)

  • They are only driving for 2 months then home for good?
    If its going to make you miserable there is no reason to stay with that person.

  • I don't think the relationship should have started if there were issues about it. If you know he's a truck driver and you are uncomfortable with it you don't date him to begin with. If the driving started after dating started, that's something that should have been discussed before the job was taken.

    (and you doesn't mean YOU, just a general you LOL)

  • Yes, I do think it is rude and judgmental. Yes, they are exposed to the sort of women who are called "lot lizards".....but men are exposed to women everyday in every profession. And, unfortunately, women can be cheaters as well!
    It is wrong to stigmatize them just because they are truck drivers. Just like any other crowd, there are bad ones and good ones in each crowd. You should determine whether he is worth getting to know as a person first.
