Bugs eating my pumpkin plants...

does anyone have a homemade pesticide for bugs eating at my pumpkin plants?

  • well..I was told that if I plant merigolds around the veggie garden that it will keep the bugs away because the bugs can't stand the smell of them or something.
    And the other one I know isnt' quite homemade nor is it organic but it works! Buy a bag of pestiside calle SEVEN from like home depot or Lowes or a plant store. YOu dust it on the leaves..now you can't eat of the vegetation for 7 days after you've sprinkled it on. But it works very well to get rd of bugs.

  • Well if the bugs happen to be slugs...putting out a saucer of beer will do wonders to get rid of them.

  • I have heard that about the marigolds too.. they don't care for the smell too much.
