Extra Change...what do you do with it?

We have a huge container filled with our spare change...
Once you change your spare change to bills, what do you do with it? Is there anything specific you use your spare change for?

  • I keep mine in a container too...at our local grocery store they have a machine that you just dump it into...then you get the paper money for it.

  • it gets used as my daughters metro fare. lol
its easier than her having to put in a bill and change, just throws in the handful of change and grabs a seat.

  • I did have a change jar, it funded things like trips & other special things... then hubby decided that since he put money in, he could take it out as he wanted and now it's all been spent on beer...

  • The quarters go in our laundry jar, the rest into a box. We just let it add up until we get short on money and cash it in. We also pull from it for our daughter's allowance.
